My wife and daughter applied for Passport through Kollam. Please give me the web address to check its status (when visited last they told within months passport wiil be send by post) byt not yet received

Goto passport.gov.in website. Then select your city or location at the bottom of the the page.
Then enter the file reference number, year applied and date of birth of the applicant then click submit button. Now you will get the status of your passport in India.
